Kristen Williamson, M.A.: School Counselor at Holloway 6th Grade Campus
A Little About Me: I attended the University of North Texas for my undergraduate degree and Amberton University for my graduate degree. This will be my 15th year in education and before becoming a school counselor I taught 6th grade! I have a husband, two kiddos and one very wild rescue dog.
What do school counselors do: I meet with students, parents, teachers and staff to ensure that every student has the skills necessary to learn and grow emotionally, mentally and academically. I provide individual and small group counseling, guidance lessons, critical level counselor support for student emergencies, teacher/staff support, and connecting others to needed resources.
My Passion: Helping students and families navigate school life, with all that that could entail, is my absolute passion. Above all, students first is something I live daily and deeply believe in. I love being able to help and serve others, please reach out if I can help you or your student in any way!
